Application procedure for the IBITA associate membership.

The applicant must have: Successfully completed his/her 1st level assistantship to apply for the associate membership of IBITA, and become an Instructor-candidate. The associate membership of IBITA is compulsory at this stage of the training process. |

The applicant must send to the IBITA Instructor-trainee Secretary: a. The Membership Registration Form. (Procedural Manual part II, document 2.1) b. A curriculum vitae. c. Copies of certificates from Basic and Advanced Bobath Courses. d. A copy of the Personal Training Profile Form, completed and signed for the first assistantship. (Procedural Manual part IV, document 4.05.) |

ALL documents should be sent in electronic format; scanned or as a Word or PDF file, attached to an e-mail. If the applicant does not have access to a scanner, photocopies sent by post will be accepted. |

3. |
The IBITA Instructor-trainee Secretary must: a. Record and file the Registration Form and the Personal Training Profile Form. b. Send an invoice of subscription to the applicant and acknowledge the receipt of the application. c. Send a copy of the Membership Registration Form to the IBITA Treasurer. |

The applicant must pay the subscription to the IBITA account. |

The Treasurer must: a. Inform the Secretary that payment of subscription has been received. b. Send a copy of the Membership Registration Form to the IBITA Secretary. |

6. |
The Secretary must: a. Inform the applicant that he/she is now an associate member of IBITA. b. Send the new member all the relevant information and arrange access to the members’ website. |
Note:
New associate members will only be registered after the required documents and the subscriptions have been received.
